Cupcake Bites | Toledo Ohio Cake Ball | Sylvania Ohio Cake Ball

Cupcakes seem to be a very popular theme for girl parties this year.

I've been wanting to make these for a realllllllllly long time.

Too long.

I finally did it!

I love these!

Perfect for that cupcake themed party you want to have for your little girl.

I can just seem them sitting out, surrounding a basket full of cupcake cake pops.

The best part about the cupcake bites, you can eat the entire thing, that isn't a cupcake paper, it is chocolate!!

Pricing for cupcake bites is listed under "Speciality Pricing".

Happy Valentine's Day | Toledo Cake Ball | Sylvania Cake Ball |

I made two flavors of cake ball truffles for Valentine's Day orders.

Chocolate Birthday Cake and Stella Yella.

Both equally delicious.

I had a lot of fun decorating these in various ways.

I hope everyone that placed orders enjoys them.

Happy 1st Birthday Laila!! | Toledo Cake Pop | Sylvania Cake Pop |

Laila's mom, Nicole, contacted me a few months ago and wanted me to make the centerpieces for her daughter's 1st birthday party being held in Downtown Toledo.

She wanted cupcakes and she wanted lots of pink.

Two of my favorite things.

I had so much fun making these arrangements.

I hope you enjoyed them Nicole!

University of Toledo Health & Science Campus Artist Showcase

Let's Have a Ball was out and about Friday at the Artist Reception at the University of Toledo Health & Science Campus in the Mulford Library.  You can read about the event here.  Not only did Let's Have a Ball provide delicious treats, my sister who is the nursing librarian at the Mulford Library had a painting on display and my son, Davis had his painting on display as well.  My sister had a gorgeous oil painting done of Davis last year as a gift to all of us for his 1st birthday.  The artist who painted it wanted to display it in the art show so of course we couldn't say no, I loved seeing the painting of our son in the show.  Unfortunately he slept the entire time so I wasn't able to get a photo of him next to his own painting.  I see another trip to the library in our future while the display is still up.

I made 4 different flavors, 3 of which were brand new, Red Velvet, Carrot Cake, Chocolate Birthday Cake and Stella Yella.

Now, onto the treats.

ME!
Stella Yella Cake Pops and Carrot Cake Pops
 Yummy!!!
 Double Yummy!!!

And now onto the artwork.

Exhausted!!

New York Cheesecake Bites and Pops

I have been looking for an excuse to try making Cheesecake Bites and Pops.

Hitting 100 fans on my Facebook fan page gave me a reason.

It took a little improvising on my part to make the perfect round ball, I am a perfectionist.

After a little trial and error, I figured out a way.

Top secret though.

I dipped them in milk chocolate and white.

I cannot believe I'm saying this, but I'm partial to the way white chocolate tastes on these.

Check out the teeth marks, YUM!!!!

Sweet Simplicity

You know I'm in love with all things simple.  This was a "just because" order from earlier this week.  Someone just felt like eating some cake ball truffles, can't argue with that!!  One taste and your hooked for life!

I really love the decoration on these, simple and sweet.  They remind me of the perfect winter day, curled up on the couch, watching the snow fall, fire in the fireplace, a cup of hot cocoa or if your me, coffee, in your hand and some cake ball truffles, of course!  Almost makes you forget how cold it is outside.

Classic. Simple. Elegant. Timeless.

In my life, I am a minamalist of sorts.

I don't like too much decor around my house, I feel cluttered.

I like my clothes to be fashionable and trendy, yet simple and timeless.

I chose my wedding dress because it was classic, simple, elegant and timeless.  Nobody is going to look at my wedding picture and go, oh yeah, that had to be a 2007 wedding because it was the year of (insert horrible wedding dress trend here).

I made these with that in mind.

Cake Ball Pop Whimsy

I created these for an order I had for today.  Cake ball pops are my favorite to create, they are so fun to make and fun to eat.  I mean, everything tastes yummy when it is served on a stick, right?

Cupcake Cuteness

I am obsessed with the cupcake cake pop.  I think it is perfect for a little (or a grown up) girl's birthday party.

Simple Elegance

Suprisingly these are what my basic cake balls look like.  Simple, elegant, timeless.  I used one of my antique trays to display them on.  These were actually made for my family Christmas.
